• How will this donation be used?

  Your donation will go towards supporting WWF’s conservation work. Our primary focuses are oceans, wildlife, wetlands, climate change, and education programmes.

  
  

• Can I ask for donations for a specific species or project, for example polar bears or ocean conservation?

  You may base your fundraising campaign on your favourite species or a specific project, but the full amount of the donations raised will support our vital conservation work in Hong Kong and around the world.

  
  

• How do I set up a fundraising page?

  1. First, set up an account and choose a password. After completing the online form, fundraisers will then receive an email with an activation link Please click the link to activate the account within 24 hours.
  2. Log into the account then create your own fundraising webpage. You need to upload the event image, the content, set a donation target, and decide on an event period (maximum one year).
  3. Be aware that content cannot be amended after it is submitted.
  4. A confirmation email will be sent within three working days of submission.
  5. Invite your friends to support you via WhatsApp, Facebook, email, and other messaging or social media channels.
  
  

• When do I receive the e-certificate?

  Fundraisers will receive an e-certificate in their name via email within one day of the close of their campaign. If you do not receive the e-certificate in a timely fashion, please check your junk folder, as sometimes emails are misdirected automatically.

  
  

• Will I receive an e-certificate if the campaign does not reach the donation target?

  All fundraisers receive an e-certificate as a token of our appreciation, whether or not the donation target is met.

  
  

• How do I receive a donation receipt?

  Donation receipts are available for donations of HK$100 or above. E-receipts will be sent to donors’ registered email addresses four to six weeks after donation payments are settled. If donors do not receive their receipts in a timely fashion, please check the junk folder, as sometimes emails are misdirected automatically.
